Jose Mourinho: Real Madrid coach is reportedly ready to return to the Premier League

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is ready to leave the club at the end of the season in favour of a return to the Premier League, according to reports.
Mourinho currently has Real seven points clear of reigning champions Barcelona in La Liga, but his future at the Santiago Bernabeu remains uncertain.
The former Chelsea manager has previously spoken of returning to manage in England and is understood to no longer be feeling the same enjoyment of coaching Real, who he joined in 2010 after a successful spell at Inter Milan.
Reports claim the Portuguese is unhappy with the pace of change at the club, the Spanish media and there are concerns not all of the players support his philosophy.
The 49-year-old, meanwhile, has not managed to break Barcelona's dominance in matches between the two rivals while he has attracted negative headlines for a number of unsavoury episodes.

Booed

Last weekend he was booed and whistled by some Real fans responding to others chanting his name although he professed to be unconcerned.
Last month Real president Florentino Perez insisted Mourinho was the man to usurp Barca, saying: "Signing Jose Mourinho has been my best decision as president of Real Madrid."
However, reports are claiming he will choose to leave Real and return England once the current season is over.
Mourinho spent a little over three years at Chelsea from June 2004, twice winning the league and League Cup as well as the FA Cup before his sudden exit in September 2007.
He has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, while he has also been mooted as a contender for the Tottenham Hotspur job if Harry Redknapp leaves to take charge of England after Euro 2012.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been floated as possible destinations for Mourinho, if he decides to leave Real.

Gael Kakuta: The Chelsea youngster is hoping to benefit from the experience of playing more first team football with Dijon

French striker Gael Kakuta believes he has the talent to become a success at Chelsea, and hopes his loan move to Dijon will give him the experience he needs to improve as a player.
The 20-year-old forward - who has not featured for the Blues this season, but has played six matches on-loan at Bolton - has found first team opportunities hard to come by at Stamford Bridge, but feels his move to France's Ligue 1 will help develop his game.
"I could not be satisfied with a few minutes on the pitch," said Kakuta, who joined Chelsea's youth set-up in 2007. "I need more experience at Dijon to bounce back.
"I have to improve on physical and athletic levels, and being more mature in my game.

Right level

"In life there are ups and downs, but I know I have the right level to play at Chelsea. It was a kid's dream to go there.
"Even if I didn't play a lot, I learnt a lot. I have no regret. Some coaches trust young players, some not. But the club still trusts me."
And former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has had some words of encouragement for Kakuta, even though the Frenchman struggled for opportunities during the Italian's reign.
Ancelotti said: "He is a great talent. He needs to play a lot of matches. With me he didn't play a lot. In great clubs, it is difficult to play young players. He had such a problem at Chelsea. At Chelsea he lost some trust."

Frank Lampard's 181 Chelsea Goals 2001/2012 | QuickfireGoals Episode #13

A complete video of Frank Lampard's 181 Goals for Chelsea in 537 appearances for the blues in Episode #13 from 2001 when Frank left West Ham, until 2012 when people were pestering me to do this video LOOL. A thumbs up is appreciated as i've managed to get all the goals in the best quality possible, unfortunately there is no commentary for the goals until his last 3 seasons but there is crowd reactions instead which in my opinion is a lot better than having annoying instrumentals. Enjoy! all his goals are crackers! :)

Ramires: Chelsea midfielder is expected to be out for a month with a knee injury

Chelsea midfielder Ramires is facing a month on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in the FA Cup victory at Queens Park Rangers.
Ramires was injured during the second half at Loftus Road and was stretchered from the pitch following a lengthy delay.
The Brazilian is thought to have damaged his medial knee ligament and manager Andre Villas-Boas is confident Ramires will not require an operation.
"It looks like a medial ligament injury, not so bad in terms of knee injuries," said Villas-Boas.
"He will have the MRI scan tomorrow, I think hopefully he will avoid an operation.
"We could look at four weeks (out). We have to see the full extent of the injury."
Fellow midfielder Frank Lampard missed the 1-0 success over QPR, but could return to face Swansea City in midweek, although John Obi Mikel remains sidelined.
Villas-Boas added: "Frank we have to see how he comes back for training, he is still a doubt, a 50 per cent chance, and Mikel shouldn't make it."

FA defuses handshake situation

No handshakes: Anton Ferdinand did not have to shake John Terry's hand prior to the FA Cup clash

The Football Association sanctioned a request for no handshakes at Loftus Road ahead of QPR's match with Chelsea.
The authority gave the clubs permission not to take part in the traditional pre-match handshake amid uncertainty as to whether Anton Ferdinand would shake John Terry's hand.
Saturday's game was the first time the two sides have met since Chelsea skipper Terry was charged with racially abusing Hoops defender Ferdinand during October's Premier League game between the two sides.
Terry has denied the offence and Ferdinand was reportedly agonising over whether or not to accept his hand.
Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas had said on Friday it was "extremely important" the players shook hands prior to kick-off, but QPR manager Mark Hughes insisted it would be entirely Ferdinand's decision.
The FA released a statement which read: "Following discussions on Friday evening and Saturday morning involving senior officials from QPR, Chelsea and the FA, it has been agreed there will not be the usual team handshake before today's FA Cup fourth-round tie at Loftus Road.
"The FA agreed to the request by both clubs in an attempt to further defuse tensions before the match."

Raised tensions

Those tensions were raised on Friday night when Metropolitan Police announced they were investigating a "malicious communication" sent to QPR and addressed to Ferdinand.
Sky Sports sources understood the package contained a bullet but the contents on Saturday remained unconfirmed by both police and the club.
But the matter was serious enough to prompt the Rs and Chelsea to announce all fans entering Loftus Road would be subject to "full searches" before entering the ground.
Stewards were seen using handheld metal detectors, with some donning protective goggles, while there was a heavier than usual police presence.

Alex: Brazil defender leaves Chelsea for new challenge in Ligue 1

Brazilian defender Alex has revealed he had wanted to leave Chelsea for the last two months after he completed his move to Paris St Germain.
The 29-year-old was reunited with Chelsea's former coach Carlo Ancelotti after being frozen out by Andre Villas-Boas.
His cut-price move to Ligue 1 represents a shrewd piece of business by the free-spending French club, and the Brazil international jumped at the chance to make a fresh start.
"I spent the last two months watching, and wanting to leave Chelsea and finally we had a conversation and everything went very well between myself and PSG," he said.

Preference

"I spent two years with Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea and I'm very happy.
"Every coach has their preference about players they like. The coach Villas-Boas didn't like my way of playing football.
"I stayed on the bench for a lot of games - and I preferred to go to another club. I wrote to the club and asked to leave in January. I want to play. This is part of my life and I like to play."
Alex has claimed league titles in Brazil, Holland and England, which is a record he is very proud of.
Champion
However, his appetite for success has not been sated and he is targeting further glory in Paris.
"I am here now at a good club and at a big club," he added. "I've been a champion at every club that I have played at.
"I hope that will be the case here and playing in the Champions League will be great.
"No one has guaranteed me anything. I spoke to Carlo Ancelotti - I was a champion with him at Chelsea and I'll be a champion with him here."

Andre Villas-Boas: Says John Terry can still perform at top level

Andre Villas-Boas says John Terry is one of the best defenders of all time and still has what it takes to compete at the top.
The Chelsea captain's performances have been the subject of criticism this season, with some questioning if he still has the pace to compete in the Premier League.
Terry has also had to deal with allegations of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand and is due in court next week.
Villas-Boas, however, has backed his skipper to ignore the negatives and continue to perform on the pitch.
He said: "John Terry is one of the greatest central defenders in the world, maybe one of the best ever in the game.
"His qualities are amazing and he's a player who almost guarantees you success in terms of individual and collective performances.
"He is a player we hold in the highest esteem and a person I have great empathy with and great respect for. Whichever route our lives will take, JT is a person I will always hold as a friend.
"As a player he has been extremely successful in the world game. He was involved in my knowledge-making and in my progress as a manager.
"All the top players have the ability to concentrate fully on the task they have to do in a game."
